Janell Duley started attending Stratford Heights in October 1992 with her husband, Rob, and two sons, Brandon & Kyle. As soon as they joined the church, her family became actively involved in the Music & Youth Ministries at Stratford. She became the church pianist in 1995 and continued in that ministry until August 2020. The Music Department at Stratford has always been one of Janell's consistent passions. Her heart of ministry is within the Music Department.
Prior to joining the fulltime staff at Stratford Heights in August 2010, Janell worked for 3 years at the Church of God State Office as the Youth & Christian Education Administrator in Lebanon, Ohio. She also worked for 13 years as the Office Administrator at the (former) Cornerstone Church of God in Lebanon, Ohio.
Janell grew up in Xenia, Ohio and attended the Xenia Church of God where her family were very much involved in various ministries. Her grandfather, Herschel Dillinger, served as a Church of God minister for many years. Janell's father, Fred Brown, served the Xenia Church as the Church Clerk & Sunday School Superintendent, and her mother, Sandy Brown, served as the church pianist for over 30 years. The Xenia Church is also where she met and married her husband in 1982. Janell has always took great pride in her Church of God history and is very thankful for her church heritage.
Today, Janell continues to serve as the Music Administrator, working alongside Pastors Natalie Ball and Tyler Adkins. She also serves with Pastor Richard McIntosh to coordinate and oversee the annual Fall Festival and Car Show.
Janell and her husband, Rob, consider themselves to be very blessed by the Stratford Heights church. The congregation is more than just fellow attendees, they are family! Some of their closest friends have come from their relationships while being at Stratford Heights, including their love for Pastor Ray.
Rob and Janell currently reside in Waynesville, Ohio.
